County of El Paso.) Before me, the undersigned authority, a Notary Public in and for
said State and County, on this day personally appeared Arthur N. Manker, who is to me
personally and well known and who being by me first duly sworn on his oath states; that
he is the son of Henry C. Manker, who is mentioned as the grantee in that certain Patent
from the United States of America recorded in book 34 on page 184 of the Patent records
of Otero County, New Mexico, and which said Patent conveyed all of lots Numbered 3
and 4 and the South half of the Nortwest quarter of Section 2, Township 15 South of
Range 9 East, New Mexico Meridian in Othero County, New Mexico, and affiant states
upon his oath that at the time said Henry C. Manker homesteaded said land he was a
widower and was a widower when he conveyed said lands to this affiant Arthur N. Manker
by deed shown on page 347 in volume 36 of the deed records of said Otero County, New
Mexico, to which reference is here made.

     Witness my hand, this the 14th day of June A.D. 1913.
